The i600 is a self-contained audio system for your ‘Pod. Creative have disclosed details of its impending iPod accessories range, which incorporates the company’s X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio standard.

It’s noticeable collection is a compact 2.1-channel system with iPod dock, two speakers and subwoofer. Then there’s the Xdock, which spits X-Fi sound to your hi-fi and video to your telly.

Also, the roduct is blessed with two portable speaker docks. The PlayDock i500 (£150) features a subwoofer and will run off the mains or 8 C batteries (in which case it’ll pump out tunes for 16 hours). The smaller TravelSound i has a USB slot for transferring files and runs off four AA batteries for 25 hours.
